Hot on the heels of one prankster in Thailand making 80 orders of food to a fake address, another in Malaysia has taken an even more horrific approach for the sake of a laugh and five minutes of Instagram fame. And this time, he was filmed on video committing the deed! Don’t people have better things to do than to terrorise others during this time?

In a short clip that was recently shared by a Twitter netizen, a local young man was seen riding his motorbike with another friend who was recording him with his mobile phone in the night. The act appears to be premeditated, as the man already had fireworks prepared alongside a lighter.

As a man hobbled past them on the sidewalk, the prankster proceeds to bring out the firework before lighting it up in hand and then tossing it towards the pedestrian.

Thankfully, the firecrackers appeared to have narrowly missed the pedestrian before landing in adjacent bushes. Cackling, the irresponsible men then simply sped off on their motorbikes.

What makes this all the more horrible is that the prankster in question proceeded to upload the clip of his ‘prank’ on Instagram for all to see, where it had racked up 1,300+ views. He even tagged a local viral news site, as well as a number of other local personalities including Malaysian rapper @capriceofficial and charitable ustaz @ebitlew.

He even tagged the Royal Malaysian Police!

As you can imagine, the video has caught much flak with netizens in Malaysia, many who condemned the young man for his completely thoughtless acts.

We hope that the authorities will look into this matter, as it is completely unthinkable that pranksters would now go to terrorising the public for the sake of amusement.
