A 14-year-old boy was beaten up by seven other boys after he was found riding a motorcycle with a girl, who was one of the other boy’s girlfriend.

According to Sinar Harian, the incident happened on Tuesday last week at an empty stall next to the Kampung Gajah Mini Football Stadium, in Pasir Salak, Perak.

A seven-minute video shows the victim sitting on a motorcycle and being hit and kicked by seven suspects while one of the suspects recorded the video.

The victim did not defend himself from the beating, causing him to suffer pain in his abdomen as a result.

The head of the state’s Criminal Investigation Department, Senior Assistant Commissioner Anuar Othman said that 10 teenagers, aged 13 to 18, including a female student were detained to assist in investigations.

He added that the victim was found riding the motorcycle with a 14-year-old girl as the pillion rider, who happens to be the girlfriend of one of the 13-year-old boys.

“The situation caused anger and jealousy towards the victim until a fight broke out,” he said.

The victim, however, did not seek any medical treatment after the incident.

“There were no traces of injuries or bruises on the victim’s body. The victim stated he was not hit using any object during the incident,” Anuar Othman said.

He added that the clothes worn by the suspects and the mobile phone used to record the video were confiscated while the suspects, including the victim, were detained for investigation under Section 147 of the Penal Code.
