A 10-year-old girl threatened to jump from the 19th floor after she had arguments with her mother concerning her mobile phone usage, reported Harian Metro.

The incident happened on the afternoon of 6th October in Larkin, Johor at an apartment building. The 10-year-old girl climbed out onto the 60cm space outside her room on the 19th floor and threatened to jump. She had been arguing with her mother about the usage of her phone prior to that.

In a video posted by the page Info Roadblock JPJ/Polis, we can hear him say,

“It’s ok. I’ve already scolded your mother, you can come with me. She has already apologised and besides, it’s too high here. Come with me? I’ll treat you to something. Your mother scolded you because she loves you. Don’t cry and come back inside, ok?”

It took him 15 minutes of talking until she put her hand in and allowed them to rescue her.
