There are an abundance of organisations out there that help the disabled people in many areas of life, but not a lot of them help them out with the their sex lives. This particular foundation in Taiwan however, is one of those organisations.

According to BBC, there is a Taiwanese charity organisation that helps give sexual pleasure to physically disabled people.

The foundation is called Hand Angels and it (obviously) has stirred some controversy. This organisation helps male and female disabled people find sexual pleasure after long months of planning and help from volunteers.

In a special video by the BBC, the founder of Hand Angels is 50 year-old Vincent, who is wheelchair-bound due to post-polio syndrome.

In the video, Vincent expresses how he feels for people who cannot sexually pleasure themselves due to their disabilities. He said,

“Our most basic service is to help our client, whether they are male or female, to masturbate.”

So far, Hand Angels has helped 6 disabled clients masturbate and achieve orgasm!

The video also interviewed some of the volunteers, who have helped these disabled people. They described their experiences and how the entire process is carried out.

One of the volunteers, Daan, explained,

“For us sex volunteers, before starting any service, we have a long period of time discussing the status of a client.”

“Although the actual service lasts only 90 minutes, we spend around 6 months preparing for it.”

However, this foundation has faced a lot of criticism, with many wrongly labelling it as a form of sex work. Despite these claims, Hand Angels have assured that whatever they are doing is completely legal in Taiwan.

A female volunteer, named Anan, also shared her experience. She said,

“When I was with him (her client), he cannot move his body so they already took off his clothes and covered him with a blanket. So, I had to do the whole process.”

“Other foundations are usually founded by religious or parents groups, and they would only think of how to help them get jobs and live on their own. But, they don’t think of their sex rights, and that’s what we do.”

The founder of Hand Angels said that at the end of the day, he wants to live in an environment where he’s happy and can help his friends achieve happiness too.

Well, this is certainly a unique initiative!
