Uniqlo Malaysia Praised by Netizens For Their Transparent Job Openings & High Salaries

In Malaysia, it is rare to find employers who are transparent with the salaries that they offer as well as the high and competitive wages.

Recently, Uniqlo Malaysia found themselves in the limelight after a banner of their search for new and potential employees went viral.

On the banner which was shared on social media by netizens, Uniqlo Malaysia made the salaries that they offered clear, as well as the various benefits they offered.

In the banner, Uniqlo Malaysia mentioned that for full time & fixed term contract positions they offered:

  • RM2,400 per month for retail associates,
  • RM2,800 per month for senior retail associates, and,
  • RM3,400 per month for retail supervisors.

Meanwhile, part timers would earn between RM9-RM10 per hour.

The banner also highlighted and made it super transparent how the career progression would look like if you were to work there.

 

“The salary of an engineer!” 

The banner has made waves on social media where netizens were quick to praise Uniqlo Malaysia for their transparency as well as the high wages that they offer.

“Feel like quitting my studies and just look for a job.”

“Bye guys, gonna drop my medical degree to work at Uniqlo,” joked a user.

Some users even pointed out how it compared with the salaries of other careers.

“Architecture fresh graduates get RM2,000. Might not even get an increment after 5 years.”

“In my official letter I am a project manager… but my salary is less than Uniqlo’s basic salary,” said another user.

Kudos to Uniqlo for being transparent with the wages they offered as well as paying their employees what they deserve.
