We understand how certain school rules need to be taken seriously but this is a physical violation of personal hygiene!
Earlier today, a netizen shared a video on Weibo that has since garnered viral status, with social media users outraged and shocked at this male teacher’s complete disregard for cleanliness, not to mention how he clearly infringes on the students’ personal space.

The footage shows a local middle school male teacher with a bucket and a cloth outside the school gate. In front of him is a line of female students who were caught with makeup on.
The teacher is then seen forcibly wiping their faces with a damp towel as they squint and cry in protest. Many of them expressed reluctance but were scolded by the person behind the camera if they protested too much. The girls that had been wiped down can be seen running away from the camera, hiding their faces with their hands in humiliation.
But that isn’t even the worst part of the story!
After the teacher wipes down one girl, he dips the SAME cloth back into the bucket of water next to him and proceeds to use that cloth to wipe the face of the next student standing in line. That’s just plain unsanitary!

The video was posted by another male teacher with the caption, “Students must have a student look.”
Fortunately, the footage was highly circulated on social media and the male teachers were slammed by netizens for their disrespect towards the students, as well as their clear lack of hygiene awareness.

Some social media users sided with the teachers. They claimed that makeup prevents students from concentrating in classes, and they should focus on learning instead of beauty products.
However, other netizens pointed out that while students should follow school rules, those teachers were completely out of line with their unhygienic, extreme approach. They could’ve at least asked them to remove the makeup on their own in the bathroom. Why publicize their embarrassment in such a filthy way?
