Two Foreigners Stopped by Public After Getting Caught Trying to Steal at Pavilion KL

A video of two Chinese nationals caught stealing at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur has been making the rounds on social media.

In the footage, the two men, one wearing a cap and the other in a black shirt are seen being restrained. One is held in a chokehold by a security officer, while the other is confronted by a man in a grey T-shirt.

The caption accompanying the video reads:

“The incident took place on 29 May 2025, near Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Two foreigners (Chinese nationals) were seen suspiciously following a Japanese tourist.”

“One of the suspects attempted to create a distraction while the other carried out the theft,” they shared.

They added, “Both were later apprehended by the man in the grey T-shirt and a mall security officer.”
