Top Glove Offers 9,000 Jobs For M’sians To Help Tackle Unemployment In The Country
Top Glove Corporation Bhd is offering 9,000 job opportunities for Malaysians in 2021 to help tackle unemployment in the country. In a statement today, the company said they hope to achieve the target through a one-year hiring campaign that starts with Top Glove Virtual Career Exhibition tomorrow (January 23).
There will be several other such fairs throughout the year to fill the vacancies, which will be held every third Saturday of the month. The career fair is expected to fill positions across all levels from executive to non-executive roles across its offices and factories in various states in Malaysia.
“It particularly aims to provide gainful employment to fresh university and vocational graduates and general workers in Malaysia.”
Top Glove will be offering positions as follow:
- 4,000 positions for local workers
- 2,300 positions for university and tech vocational fresh graduates
- 2,000 interns and trainees
- 700 experienced Malaysian employees
Managing Director, Dato’ Lee Kim Meow, said that they understand many talented and capable candidates lost their jobs due to the pandemic. They hope that the recruitment drive will help some of these job seekers find an enriching and rewarding career with a well established Malaysian brand with a global presence.
In the statement, Top Glove said in addition to attractive remuneration packages and daily meal subsidies and provisions, other perks of joining the Top Glove family are medical benefits.
