Wait. Are you saying that we can wash our hair without moving a single muscle!?

An inventor from China, “Handyman Di” 手工耿, invented the unique machine for people to wash their hair effortlessly. He posted a video on Weibo, demonstrating how his machine works.

Di explained that washing hair is especially time and energy consuming, and it’ll damage our hair and scalp when we wash our hair with too much force. That’s how he was inspired to create an automated hair (and face) washing machine — not forgetting to mention that this machine also includes a computerised HAIRDRYER. Whuut.

Say What

Let us explain the ‘Di-eal’ here.

Di first positions himself on the machine while clipping his nose with a clothes peg, and placing a plastic breathing tube into his mouth.

Then, the machine started to incline, leaving Di hanging upside down while his shoulders rested on two pieces of support. Ok, that looks uncomfortable AF.

The inventor’s head was placed in the plastic cylindrical tank, with his plastic tube hanging outside for him to breathe.

After he turned on the washer, the orange rubber hose began to fill the tank with water. OK, this looks more like a Black Mirror torture device.

The washer proceeded to wash his long locks, and the turbine at the bottom of the tank spun the water around like a laundry machine! After a minute or two, he drained all the water and explained that he’d start blow drying his hair with just one click on his remote.

And voilà! He claimed that his hair is “clean and soft” thanks to the gentle wash!

We thought it wouldn’t work, but his hair is pretty luscious though!

It’s amazing that he invented this cool, albeit impractical machine. We hope the people who are too lazy to wash their hair will have their dreams come true soon!
