For us fangirls (and boys), all of us know that Wattpad and AsianFanFics is the place to go to let out all your love and emotions for your oppas.

Recently, someone discovered that there was a fanfiction in Malay for Muar MP Syed Saddiq!

The fanfiction was found on the popular site Wattpad and it’s titled Always by Your Syed. We got to know of this peculiar fanfiction from a Twitter user and this new-found knowledge does not disappoint.

Always by Your Syed speaks of a young girl named Hasya whose dream was to read Law at Oxford University. She managed to get into the prestigious university and in her second year, she met Syed Saddiq, a prominent debater when he was judging for a debate competition.

From then on, their relationship grew and *spoiler alert* they got married.

To give you an example of how the story goes, here are a few screenshots:

Many netizens said that the fanfiction was cringy but on the other hand, a lot of them were intrigued by it as well.

We did not have a chance to read the whole story as it has been deleted/ privatised. However, upon reading a few snippets of the chapters, there seems to be a good amount of plot in the 32-part fanfiction with some character development here and there.

Fanfictions are not all that bad as there have been instances where they were turned into real-life movies. An example would be After: The Movie which is actually based on a fanfiction (found on Wattpad) on Harry Styles from One Direction. The fanfic got 1 billion reads and it was then published into a 6-book series. A sequel to the movie has been announced for the later part of 2020.

What do you think about this? Let us know.
