It was recently announced that only one member from a family is allowed to get groceries and essentials. While this has lead to some hijinks with some husbands being clueless about what to get, the shopping was still done nevertheless. Of course, shoppers who went out also made sure to wear their masks and sanitize their hands.

However, this engineer from Terengganu took protection to a whole new level!

Zamakhyari Khairiri, 41, donned an outbreak “protection suit” which consisted of plastic garbage bags, mask, ski goggles and even rubber boots!

The father of three from Kampung Bukit Payong told Bernama that the strange looks he got didn’t bother him in the slightest as his safety and his family’s safety is what matters to him most.

“In places like this (supermarket), there is a high risk of infection, and this is my small way of taking care of the safety of my family and the people around me.”

He added that this is the first time he’s left the house in eight days since the MCO was imposed to buy food and other items. Zamakhyari said it took him about 10 minutes to put on his outfit, with some help from his children.

Hey, as long as it keeps you safe and is not a hindrance to others, you do you, bro! To the rest, only go out if you have the absolute need to and if you go out, make sure to be prepared and maintain social distancing.
