Stress gets the best of us and sometimes it sends us spiralling.

Recently, a video of a boy and a policeman in China has gone viral on the Chinese social media site, Weibo.

In a report by Sina, it is said that the police in Huainan, Anhui, China had received a report sent by the public at 4 in the morning about a 16-year-old boy.

The report states that the teen was having suicidal thoughts and was staying alone in an apartment. The person who reported then asked for the police’s help to go and check on him.

The police immediately began their move to the boy’s address after receiving the report and when they reached there, they found the boy to be in a depressive state.

After speaking to him for a while, the police managed to find out that the boy was feeling stressed because of school and also that he lives alone without anyone he can communicate with.

The boy asked the policeman for a hug and when he agreed, the boy burst into tears and sobbed.

“Uncle, can you give me a hug?”

The teen then said that he will try his best to not let the pressure get to his head again. It’s a good thing that the police arrived right on time and were willing to hear the boy out.

Sometimes, we have so many emotions pent up in us and the best way is probably to let it all out. If you are feeling down, blue or having trouble with your emotions, please seek and reach out to someone to talk to.
