Teacher At SMK Taman Sea in Petaling Jaya Tests Positive For Covid-19 On Third Swab Test

Students and staff of SMK Taman Sea in Petaling Jaya have been ordered to undergo home quarantine for 14 days after a teacher tested positive for Covid-19.

According to a message circulating on the Internet, the teacher came into close contact with a Covid-19 patient in Kelantan and tested positive in the third swab test on 5 October.

However, the teacher has been under self-quarantine since 30 September.

Following the news about this incident, the Petaling District Health Office has ordered all students from class 1C, 2K, 2B and 2J as well as some teachers to quarantine at home while awaiting results of the swab test.

So far, there have been no reports about the closure of the school.
