The Melaka State Legislative Assembly Member (ADUN) for Duyong, Datuk Mohd Noor Helmy Abd Halem, is auctioning a limited-edition fantasy cash note with a very ‘ONG’ serial number to mark the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations.
Taking to his Facebook page, Helmy showcased the previous years’ Chinese New Year gifts before announcing this year’s “DUYONG Edition Fantasy Cash.”
He stated:
“Chinese New Year Gifts. Gold coin in 2024, Couplet in 2025, and DUYONG Edition Fantasy Cash in 2026.
“Designed with elements of Duyong and Chinese culture, it is limited to 2,000 pieces only.”
An upcoming auction
He also showcased one of the fantasy cash notes, which carries a special serial number: YB 88888888. This note will soon be auctioned off, and the proceeds will be donated to the Villa Harapan Home for the Homeless.
Additionally, fantasy cash notes with the serial number ‘GOLDEN‘ will be given to donors who have helped the Duyong community. The remaining fantasy cash notes will be distributed to the Chinese community living within the Duyong constituency.
The Duyong ADUN ended his post by sharing that the auction and distribution of the fantasy cash notes will be announced soon.
