After four years of construction, Singapore’s Jewel Changi Airport, a 10-storey complex filled with shops, restaurants, and leisure attractions, is finally opening to the public on Wednesday (17th April 2019).

With less than a week to go before its grand opening, about 500,000 people have signed up to get a first look at this brand new complex before its grand opening from Thursday (11th April) to Tuesday (16th April), according to the Straits Times.

Pictures of Jewel Changi have already trickled in after the first batch of people who managed to sneak a peek of the complex earlier on Thursday uploaded them online, and we’re pretty stoked to see a lot of interesting spots.

Some of the coolest attractions many people have been looking forward to checking out include;

  • The first Pokemon Center outside of Japan
  • Shake Shack’s first outlet in Singapore
  • Canopy Park
  • The 40m Rain Vortex (the world’s tallest indoor waterfall)
