Singaporean Shop Sells Mantou Bouquet For RM107 In The Spirit of Valentine’s Day
When you think of Valentine’s Day, the thought of red roses, chocolates, and romantic dinners will pop up in your mind! However, when you think more about it, it also means that we’ll be spending a lot of money on that particular day.
With people becoming more creative on what to gift their loved ones on Valentine’s Day, a Singaporean store called Man Tou Da Han has come up with a unique bouquet where they use their key-business ingredient. Yes, a mantou bouquet. The store specialises in making crispy, deep-fried mantous accompanied by creative ice-cream flavours such as jasmine with butterfly pea, etc.
The said bouquet is named Man Tou Da Hua (Mantou big flower) and it retails for 35SGD (RM107). The bouquet consists of eight fried-until-golden, crispy mantous surrounded by dried baby’s breath. The store also said that the mantous and flowers are wrapped with a “swee swee char kuey teow paper”. Swee swee means nice nice.
There are only 15 of this limited-edition bouquet and they have all been sold out! The team said in their IG Story that they are considering selling more of this Valentine’s day exclusive item.
If it is available in Malaysia and in your neighbourhood, would you pay RM107 for one of these bouquets?
