The female driver disembarked from her car and started shouting

A TikTok video shared by @nicxryme caught the attention of many netizens after a woman was seen getting out of her car and walking toward another driver coming from the opposite direction.

In the video, the woman could be heard shouting at the driver and gesturing for him to move to the other lane, seemingly thinking he was driving the wrong way.

However, the driver refused to move and remained at a standstill. The road markings, which showed an arrow pointing in his direction, suggested that he might have been driving the correct way.

Is it a one-way or two-way street?

One user pointed out that even though the road markings are clear, the dividers between the two lanes suggest the road might be in the process of being turned into a two-way street.

“That road is indeed one-way, so the man’s direction is correct. But why is there a road divider here? Are they planning to make it a two-way street?”

Another user, however, pointed out that there’s actually a sign indicating it’s a one-way road at some point in the video.

“There’s a sign from that side.”

More netizens jumped into the discussion, filling the comments with their own opinions and reactions.

“So embarrassing to be shouting like that. When it’s actually the female driver who’s in the wrong.”

“There were so many onlookers. The embarrassment must’ve reached all the way here.”

“Just by looking at the big arrow on the road you can tell it’s a one-way street. Maybe the female driver got confused because she’s not familiar with the area.”

“That road is supposed to be one-way, but it’s been divided into two lanes. Technically, the woman’s side is correct. This kind of thing usually happens when people aren’t familiar with the place.”
