Here at WORLD OF BUZZ, we have covered all too many road rages and uncivil behaviour of motorists.

For example, the lady who ripped off a car’s number plate at the JB Checkpoint and this lorry driver that threatened another driver with a knife.

However, this might be the first time we are seeing someone spit on another car out of anger.

On September 7, 2022 at about 2.30pm, the Brickfields District Police Headquarters received a police report by a 26-year-old local woman who drives a Perodua Myvi.

Her car was intercepted and obstructed by another Perodua Myvi while at the Jalan Lapangan Terbang Lama junction, heading towards Jalan Dewan Bahasa, Kuala Lumpur.

The suspect had followed the complainant’s vehicle, then cut into her lane before suddenly coming to a stop in front of her car.

The suspect, who the victim did not know, got out of his vehicle while scolding her.

He started advancing on the victim’s car and when he was near the driver side of the car, he spat on the driver seat window.

In a video of the incident that was shared on the Facebook page, Inforoadblock, the suspect can be seen repeatedly pointing to his head as he scolded the complainant, implying that she did something thoughtless.

The suspect also did not seem to be fazed by the complainant recording the incident. In fact, he even waved and made peace signs at the camera.

Acting on the report, the police have recorded the complainant’s conversation and are working to trace the suspect.

The case is being investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code / Section 14 of the Minor Offenses Act 1955.

Netizens expressed their disgust at the suspect’s action

“How rude. He even went to the extent of spitting.”

Rude

However, there was one netizen that chose to look at the incident more rationally.

The car at the back must have provoked the car in front. We only know the ending, but we don’t know the beginning.”

Even if we are angry, isn’t spitting on somebody’s belonging a bit too low?
