If you’re an automotive fan, then joining a car group with people who have the same passion as yours is definitely something fulfilling.

However, car groups do have something of a negative connotation associated with them due to several bad apples that flaunt rules and regulations, whether it be illegal racing or even unruly behaviours during group gatherings.

One example of the latter recently went viral on social media recently after a group of drivers decided to park their cars in the middle of the road.

Shared by @syvhirr on TikTok, the video has since gone viral, receiving over 474,000 views and more than 16,300 likes.

In the video, a group of drivers can be seen parking their Proton Wira sideways across the road, essentially blocking other road users from passing through.

Worse, while the road is a four-lane single-carriageway, the road is divided by a dual line, meaning that overtaking using the opposite-way lanes is prohibited.

In the 5-second video, the drivers of the car can also be seen loitering by their cars while wearing Baju Melayu, hence the footage was presumably taken during Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

@syvhirrr BUKAN DEKAT MALAYSIA . kita sesama main kereta . bukan nak jatuhkan sesiapa cuma nak spread awareness supaya kita tak perangai macam ini. #fyp #fypシ #proton #ppoccrew ♬ cupid fifty fifty – sped up – lex1e

In the caption of the video, @syvhirrr said that he is not seeking to embarrass anyone, but is just spreading awareness to the masses so that others won’t act like the car group in the video.

In the comments section, many commenters criticised the car group, with fellow Proton Wira owners feeling embarrassed about the group’s behaviour.

One commenter even jokingly said that he is now selling his Proton Wira because of the group’s behaviour. Meanwhile, another netizen bemoans the lack of common sense shown by the group, a sentiment that many agree with based on all the other comments.
