Throughout the Movement Control Order (MCO), stories of heroism revolving people of service in the frontlines greet us Malaysians on a daily basis. While we count our days away lazing around the house, stories of kindness from our frontliners have surely strengthened our faith in humanity.

Taking to Facebook, JSPT KL, a page dedicated to showcasing the daily musings of the police force, shared a story of Inspector Sinniah and Corporal Dayang stumbling upon a stranded Russian who recently gave birth at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

Shared as part of their picture of the day, the story which began with “Police and the people are Inseparable” tells the story of how the two officers met up with the Russian couple during a Covid-19 Operation.

“The couple has exhausted all their funds and couldn’t even afford to pay for their hotel.”

“Inspector Sinniah helped the couple by purchasing much-needed diapers and have brought the couple to the Tun Razak Police Station for further action.”

In the Facebook status, it was mentioned that the couple was unsuccessful in seeking assistance from the Russian Embassy.

We applaud the efforts of our frontliners for always striving to lend a helping hand no matter how small the contribution.Ā
