PDRM Finds An Unexploded Hand Grenade Under A Tree in Skudai, Johor
Imagine walking past a place and then you notice a strange glint near a tree. As you unearth it, your fingertips come in contact with cold metal. When you peer in to take a closer look, you see the shape of a hand grenade.
On 20 January at around 11am, members of the public in Skudai, Johor found an unexploded bomb in the ground near a tree.
The exact location is Jalan Kemuliaan 1, Taman Universiti, Skudai, Johor. The bomb disposal unit was sent to the scene. The team managed to unearth the grenade and it is revealed to be a rusted PRB 36 that is 4.5 inches long and 8 inches in circumference. The bomb was defused successfully at 4.40pm without any loss of life and damage to property.

The police also informed members of the public to stay calm when they see objects resembling bombs, advising them not to touch, lift or move them. They should always call the police when they encounter such objects.
