Give this teacher a medal!

These unsung heroes often are burdened with unnecessary tasks unrelated to teaching. And a teacher’s sacrifice is not seen most of the time. They go the extra mile each and every day even without the glamour.

An example of a great teacher who prioritises their students was shared recently. A Twitter user by the name of Nisa shared a picture of her teacher who was marking examination papers while being hospitalised.

Also reported on mStar, Nisa explained that the teacher from Perak used to teach her in primary school. Nisa said,

“I am so sad to look at the picture. He was never that skinny before. Even when he is ill, he still prioritizes his students. I am so touched by his sacrifices.”

We would like to thank all the teachers out there who have sacrificed a lot to make sure students learn to contribute back to society.
