Speaking to reporters present outside the kindergarten’s premises in Beijing, the parents said they found needle marks present on their children’s thighs, arms, and buttocks, according to Shanghaiist.

Not only that, they also believe that their young children were being fed pills made up of unknown substances!

These parents suspect that their children, aged between 2 and 6 years, were being injected and fed these mysterious pills as either “disciplinary methods” or as a way to make them go to sleep.

Some parents also claim that their children were forced to either stand naked or stay locked in a dark room as another form of cruel punishment.

A mother of one of the kindergarten’s students, who is just 3 years old, caught everyone’s attention the most when she revealed what her child had told her.

According to her child, the children at the kindergarten were given regular “health checks” where an “uncle and grandpa doctor” would make the children stand naked while one of them was naked as well.

Since the disturbing story surfaced, local police have begun investigations and have seized their surveillance tapes. So far, three teachers have been suspended in light of this case.

Netizens have reacted in outrage and shock when news of this alleged abuse came to light. However, the online conversation surrounding this issue seems to be heavily censored by local authorities, as hashtags and comments related to the topic are being deleted.

This is undoubtedly a horrifying thing for any child and parent to endure. We just hope that the authorities take appropriate action while prioritising the welfare of the young kids involved.
