A heartbreaking incident occurred in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, on the night of 24 July where an elderly Chinese couple was murdered at their home in Taman Desa Melati.

According to The Star, the house was also set on fire with the couple’s dead bodies inside around 9 pm that very night.

As the firemen rushed into the scene to put out the fire, they found the couple’s lifeless bodies at separate areas of the double-storey house. The wife was found in the storeroom with two stab wounds on her chest and left wrist; while the husband was found in the kitchen with injuries on his left wrist, forehead, and right arm.

It was reported that the wife was a teacher and the husband a retired engineer.

Things got a fishy when the son didn’t appear since this incident occurred, even the deceased couple’s funeral was managed by their relatives, as reported by Sin Chew Daily.

The police decided to investigate the car that was parked in front of the scene before the son got to his parents’ home. According to Guang Ming Daily, the police found inside the car tissues soaked in blood, some bandaids, a hotel room card, as well as a Kancil car key. The car door, handle, as well as the seats were also covered in bloodstains.

The Negeri Sembilan police immediately arrested the son when he arrived at the scene.

Three men and one woman between the ages of 30 to 45 were arrested for a thorough investigation, and they will be detained for seven days until 1 August.

We hope the couple will be able to rest in peace, and justice to be done.
