Mothers are a gift to us; they take good care of us and shower us with lots of love regardless of our age. However, oftentimes, we hear stories about abandoned parents because their children are not willing to take care of them. Most of these parents either end up in a nursing home or even worse, they are left to live by themselves.

Siakap Keli shared the heartbreaking story of a mother who was abandoned by her nine children, and she even has to take care of herself when she’s sick. A netizen who came across this poor lady took to Facebook to share his two cents on the matter, saying,

“It’s really sad to see this auntie visit to the hospital alone. When asked, she said she has nine kids but when she called them (for help), not even one of them picked up the phone.”

Following that, the netizen elaborated that he tried to call one of her kids and they answered the phone. Therefore, he hopes that the child will come to help their mother in the hospital. The netizen ended his post saying that he saw his own mum in the lady and he hopes that the lady’s business in the hospital will be smooth.

This is really sad! We hope no parent will have to go through a situation like this; we urge every child to take good care of their parents, especially when they are old because they have no one else left but us.
