The case is closed for the viral fight at a restaurant in Selangor but the family members of the vendor aunty have a message for everyone.

“No live videos, no interviews”

In another statement last night (August 12), the family members of the aunty have resolved the matter with the customers and the case is now closed as they will not proceed with police reports or legal actions.

For now, the family is moving forward and letting bygones be bygones.

“We just want to live a normal life. Life is already tough, we have a lot on our plates and we don’t need another pressure in life,” the aunty’s kid said.

Moving forward, the family members have 1 small request to everyone – respect their privacy.

“We sincerely ask you not to do live videos in our restaurant, and we’re not accepting any interviews. We welcome customers to dine in here but if you’re not here for that, please let us go. Don’t disturb our mum in doing her business. Thank you, let’s move on and life goes on.”

“There’s a silver lining”

Social media users flocked to the comment sections to show some love and support towards the aunty and wished her well in her life and business. Some also pointed out the advantages that happened following the unpleasant situations.

“There’s a silver lining to it. I wish the aunty all the best in her business.”

“I’ll be visiting soon! Wishing the pretty aunty a booming business!”

“The aunty is kind and forgiving, she’ll be happy in her life.”

“I’m a Johorean, and I’ll visit when I have the chance. Wish you a healthy life and a good business!”

Another netizen also shared a video of his visit to the restaurant with his family, where they cheered for the aunty at the almost full-house restaurant.

We’re glad that both parties have chosen to resolve the matter. We hope everyone in the service line will always find room for improvement and as for the customers, let’s not resort to violence when problems arise.
