Mydin USJ Staff Tested Positive For Covid-19
Mydin USJ, Subang Jaya has sanitised its supermarket after one of its operation staff was tested positive for Covid-19.
According to an official statement released by the company, a recent screening uncovered the Covid-19 positive staff, following a health screening carried out on 29th and 30th December 2020.
“The screening found new cases among the staff. All Covid-19 positive individuals were immediately placed under quarantine.
“Close contacts have been identified and screened following the advice of the Health Ministry.”
According to Mydin, the supermarket will be operating as usual following approval from the Health Ministry.
The management adds that disinfection and sanitisation procedures have carried out the same day under the Health Ministry guidelines’ purview.
“We will ensure continued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance for the wellbeing and safety of our employees and customers.”
However, Mydin did not specify the number of staff who were positive for Covid-19.
