Online learning is now the new norm and without a properly working device, a smooth learning process is almost impossible. As the Media & Communication Minister is set to give out tablets to B40 students, Syed Saddiq revealed that he will also be doing the same.

On his Twitter account, the founder of MUDA said that he has 1680 tablets & laptops for B40 students in Muar. In the video, he revealed that during Ramadhan, he is targeting to give away another 500 laptops and tablets to eligible students. Not only that but he is also planning to set up 1,000 foodbanks in Muar to help the family in need.

As seen in the video, Acer laptops & Windows Surface are expected to be given out to B40 students.

Just this morning (5 April), Syed Saddiq responded to the Minister of Media & Communication, Tan Sri Annuar Musa and asked him to mention the specifications & the brand of the tablets that he plans to give away. This is followed by Musa’s announcement about the tablets which had people questioning the quality.

“We just want to make sure the tablets are common brands, so that it’s easier to be repaired and look for the spare parts,” Saddiq noted.

Watch & learn, Tan Sri

Saddiq’s tweet has gone viral and netizens have sent a “friendly reminder” to Tan Sri Annuar Musa to show him that the quality of the device plays an important role too.
