Hadzrat added that the motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead while being taken to Pontian Hospital.
His two younger siblings, who were riding as pillion passengers, also suffered serious injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the 69-year-old light truck driver sustained injuries to his hands and both knees and has since received medical treatment.

Initial investigations found that the motorcycle was believed to have collided with the front right side of the light truck. However, further investigations are still underway to determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the crash.
Both vehicles have since been seized for further investigation, with the case being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
The two siblings insisted on going to school despite being closed
Meanwhile, Utusan Malaysia reported that the mother of the three siblings, Julaiha Munaji, said she had already told her children that school was closed today, but her two younger children insisted on going.
The 43-year-old said the two, Nor Danial Fikri Nor Lizan (11), and Puteri Naufa Raisha Nor Lizan (8), even prepared their schoolwork that morning before their older brother, Nor Danial Aiman Nor Lizan (18), took them to school on his motorcycle.

“I had already told them that school was closed and that there were no classes today, but my two children insisted on going to school.
“However, shortly after their brother left with them, I was informed by villagers that my children had been involved in an accident,” she said.
The three siblings were involved in a collision with a lorry about 200 metres from their family home.
