Recently, many unpleasant incidents involving public parking spaces in Malaysia have been going viral, which unfortunately shows how selfish and entitled some people can be.

These include how a selfish driver caused traffic in Bukit Jalil by parking outside the designated area, a Tesla parking on a zebra crossing at Mont Kiara, and a Government official car parking and blocking a tactile pedestrian walkway.

Well, we can now add another incident to the list as a dashcam video went viral recently, showing a parking area of an undisclosed rail station.

Shared by Sukan Star TV on Facebook, the video has garnered over 232,000 views and more than 3,600 reactions as of the time of writing.

In the video, the dashcam video owner is making their way through the parking area when they face a tricky situation due to 2 selfish car owners who parked at the location.

Get this, the 2 cars, a yellow Perodua Myvi and a grey Honda City Hatchback ‘strategically’ parked under the covered pedestrian walkway, leaving just a small gap for vehicles to pass by.

Worse, the parked vehicles also blocked pedestrians from using the covered walkway, forcing people to walk around the cars.

In the video, 1 car in front of the dashcam owner barely made it past the 2 vehicles and afterwards, the dashcam owner can be seen driving slowly between the two cars, ensuring that they don’t hit the 2 cars.

Malaysians lambasted the 2 selfish vehicle owners

In the comments section, many Malaysians condemned the selfish car owners for parking under the covered pedestrian walkway.

One commenter lambasted the 2 car owners, urging them not to be selfish as the world doesn’t revolve around them.

Meanwhile, another commenter sarcastically said that the 2 cars weren’t wrong, but those who drove through the area were the ones who were in the wrong.

Besides that, one commenter said that selfish vehicle owners such as these will keep doing this unless someone scratches their cars or puts garbage on top of the vehicles.
