A recent video has warmed the hearts of many Malaysians after a woman shared a wholesome encounter she had at a petrol station.
Taking to Instagram, Allyna (@allynawong) said she stopped by the petrol station to grab some snacks after finishing her dance class.

When she reached the counter to pay, Allyna said the cashier, who’s a foreigner on duty asked if he could take a photo of her after being amused by what she was wearing.
Allyna was wearing a saree at the time, and the staff member told her that seeing her in the traditional attire reminded him of his home country.
She happily let him take a photo, while he also shared that he didn’t realise how Malaysia embraces and celebrates different cultures.
Reflecting on the moment, Allyna said that interactions like this are common when she meets foreign workers.
“He didn’t expect to find a piece of home in Malaysia. This is often a conversation starter for me with our foreign abang workers! They’ll always greet me with the biggest smiles haha and they said this is a normal daily attire back in their home country! So they miss seeing this sight,” her post read.
