One of the biggest problems Malaysians face on a daily basis is the lack of parking spaces. We can sometimes spend over an hour just looking for a parking space.

So, what happens when you finally find a parking spot only to see that a street vendor has set up their stall on it?

The Inforoadblock Facebook page shared a video showcasing a fight between street vendors (an uncle and an aunty) and a woman, who had allegedly confronted them for setting up their stall on parking spaces in front of some shops.

Inforoadblock wrote, “CCTV footage of a fight that took place yesterday evening (8 February) following dissatisfaction of being confronted to not conduct their business at the parking lots in front of a shop.”

In the video, a woman can be seen getting down from a red car before moving one of the vendors’ boxes that were occupying the parking spaces, as they set up their stall. The 3 of them could be seen talking before the uncle kicked the box back to its original position.

Things slowly become more heated as the vendors could be seen making frustrated gestures at the woman, who was at that point standing next to their stall.

Soon after, the aunty started pushing boxes of fruit off of their stall, which prompted the woman to do the same.

This led to the uncle pushing the woman to the ground and starting a physical altercation between him and the woman as other vendors rush over the separate them.

The aunty also joined the fight as she could be seen kicking and shoving at the woman.

Netizens have since sided with the woman considering they too believe that the vendors shouldn’t have set up their stall on parking spaces.

Vendor 3

“Serves them right! Those are parking spaces!”

Vendor 4

“Can parking spaces be used to conduct business?”

Vendor 5

“Stupid local council are dumb enough to increase the economy for vendors in parking spaces for cars.”

What do you think? Should the vendors have set up their stall on a parking spot?
