Being an influencer may not be as glamorous as it seems because there are many things that you’d need to take into consideration. One of the most challenging things about being an influencer is that there is a constant need to stay relevant and be creative with the work they put out.

Recently, a Malaysian influencer posted 2 videos onto his TikTok page which drew controversy.

In one of his videos, he was filming a lady pushing her child on a wheelchair. It appears that the lady’s child had special needs, and that they were taking a stroll at the park.

The influencer then revealed that he has a cake and held the cake in one hand, waiting for the right ‘opportunity’.

Prank

At one point, a kid went up to him and asked if he could have a slice of cake to which the influencer replied saying no but asked if he would like to see “something”.

He then threw the cake onto the lady shocking everyone who was watching the whole ordeal.  Feeling shocked and in disbelief, the woman continously asked him why he threw a cake at her.

He then replied to her saying, “This is actually just a prank. I was just testing to see if you’re patient enough to handle a special needs kid.”

Prank 1

His distasteful pranks was called out by netizens, and he has since deleted the videos.

Following the ordeal, he has since released another video apologising for his behaviour and that the lady was well informed and gave him consent to smash a cake onto her face.

In his apology video, he mentioned that the prank he made was for ‘awareness’ purposes and he was trying to see if the people that witness the ordeal would come up and help the lady.

He then ended his apology video saying that he hopes that Malaysians would forgive him for his mistake.
