How often do we see someone take care of their grandparents to this extent? Heck, there are even some children out there who do not take care of their parents when they get old, let alone their grandparents.

A post of a filial grandchild carrying his grandmother had gone viral on social media platforms last night (26 August). In a post by Perak Press, it details a doctor’s experience with the duo.

The story starts off with a doctor being very surprised when a man carried a 94-year-old elderly woman into the consultation room. When asked about it, the young man said,

“My grandmother has a spinal injury. She can’t sit so I have to carry her to bath, pass motion and to eat. She only lays on the bed. My parents are not strong enough to do this.”

The grandmother was the one who needed medical attention as she had scabies on her derriere. When the doctor was done treating her, he waived her payment as the duo are not well to do.

The doctor also gave them some additional money for them to buy some food items for their family.

This is truly a heartwarming story. For those of us who still have grandparents, please take care of them to give them the best days of their lives.
