@FarraDiana_ shared the whole message from the woman on the X post, where the latter detailed how her in-laws invited her husband’s ex-girlfriend to the solemnisation ceremony and even took photos together with the ex.

Not only that, her father-in-law even loudly said to the ex-girlfriend during the ceremony that it should be her marrying his son. This was done all right in front of the woman.

The anonymous sharing reads,

“I don’t know who to share with. My solemnisation ceremony was yesterday and I thought that it would be my happiest day but nope. Suddenly turned into my saddest day.”

“While the Ustaz was giving a speech, I saw one girl come in with my husband’s extended family. I know this girl is my husband’s ex-girlfriend.”

“After we were solemnised, we took photos with my husband’s extended family. My husband’s siblings pulled the girl’s hands, asking for her to take photos together with us but thankfully she rejected the request.”

“Afterwards, they asked the girl to take photos with my husband and his parents. I forced a smile and let it be. When the girl came closer to my father-in-law, he said, ‘It should’ve been you beside my son’. I was crushed and crestfallen.”

The woman added that she knows that the ex-girlfriend is her family-in-law’s favourite and revealed that the in-laws even told her to not separate her husband from the ex-girlfriend as the family has already considered the ex-girlfriend as part of their family.

The woman asserted,

“I’m extremely sad. I think I might’ve made the wrong decision with this marriage. Help. I don’t know what to do.”

“I have no mood to go through with the wedding ceremony. I am their daughter-in-law. That girl is just an ex-girlfriend. I’m sad.”

In the X post, @FarraDiana_ said that she sympathises with the woman and wished that she could give her a hug.

Meanwhile, in the replies, many felt bad for the woman and criticised her in-laws for their actions that were uncalled for.

One commenter urged everyone who has broken up to not attend their ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend’s wedding even if they were invited to avoid situations such as this.
