Disagreements and misunderstandings are sometimes inevitable when communicating with your superiors, and those who have worked with different bosses will understand this. Is it considered going too far if there is a specific WhatsApp group created just for the purpose of discussing your dissatisfaction with your boss?

Local businesswoman, Kieda, who is well known for her dessert business recently shared via her TikTok @kiedacrepepenang and revealed that she is firing 12 of her employees. This came after Kieda found out that they had been dissing her via a WhatsApp group that was created for that sole purpose.

In one of the screenshots of the group shared by Kieda, the staff were discussing leaving the workplace together after receiving their respective salaries.

Their wait was cut short after Kieda found out about the group and the criticisms.

“You don’t need to wait. I’m asking you to send me resignation letters within the next 24 hours.”

In another screenshot, one of the participants in the WhatsApp group told Kieda that she had initially left the group but was recently “pulled” back into it again.

“But I have not spoken anything ill about you since then,” she told Kieda.

Kieda, who has just deleted her TikTok post stood firm with her decision due to the pain of finding out about the names that her employees have been calling her behind her back. The founder of Kieda Crepe also shared a picture of her with the 12 said employees.

“What have I done to deserve this betrayal?”

She also expressed her hope in seeing the said 12 employees find a better employer with a better circle at their future workplace. In the latest FB post by Kieda today (November 24), Kieda shared a picture of her at the police station.

“A lesson to those who like to get together and manipulate others into bringing a company down,” Kieda said in her caption.

As an employer, have you ever found out about the trash talk about you behind your back?
