Let’s admit it, brides are scary people.
They’re want to ensure their special day goes accordingly with their plans and vision. But some of them also want to outdo other weddings by making their own bigger and more outlandish.
Well, one Malaysian bride certainly did by picking on a wedding trend that’s rarely seen yet so elegantly extravagant. Falihinjasmi (@FLjasmy) took to his Twitter page to showcase a wedding ceremony in which the wedding cake was upside down, suspended from the ceiling.
Wow… upside down wedding cake. Power!

Yeap, that gorgeous thing dangling from the ceiling like a chandelier is the wedding cake.
For those of you who are worried as to how the married couple would cut the cake since it’s so high up, fret not for the cake is attacked to a mechanical item that lowers it.
Netizens took to the thread to express their fear of the cake falling to the ground and the wrath of gravity. #priorities
This comment goes, “I’m so worried the cake is going to fall!”
Luckily, other netizens, such as Sufi.asyraf (@asyrafgk) helped by explaining how the cake managed to stay exactly in place the whole time. It turns out, the bride and groom, and everyone else were upside down instead of the cake.

But unfortunately, that’s not how it was done. It turns out that the cake is still right side up. Here’s a better visualisation of how the platform for the hanging wedding cake looks as according to Mhdrzm (@mhdrzm90).

So, it all makes sense now! The credits for the spectacular cake goes to the Lily & Lola Cakes shop.
Sufi’s posting has since garnered over 20,100 retweets.
What do you guys think of this? Would you have this cake at your wedding?
