Just when we thought it was all over, two new cases of the dreaded coronavirus were reported today by the Ministry of Health (MOH), bringing the total Co-vid19 cases recorded in Malaysia to 25. You can read more about that here.

Given the sudden spike of coronavirus cases worldwide, MOH recently took to Twitter to advise Malaysian netizens about travelling to the following four high-risk countries: “For the time being, Malaysian citizens are advised to delay their travels to the countries listed as they’ve been declared as Co-vid19 outbreak areas. Aside from China, [Malaysians are also advised to delay travels to] South Korea, Japan, Italy and Iran.

Anybody who visits these countries are subject to a 14-day quarantine period when they return and are required to give a full history of their travels to the medical authorities when receiving treatment.

The ministry also took the opportunity to reassure Malaysians that authorities were doing the best that they can to regulate and get rid of Covid-19, advising netizens to contact the ministry for more information about the coronavirus:
