There’s no denying that the coronavirus fear is still on everyone’s minds but we can take comfort from the fact that the Health Ministry (KKM) is handling the whole outbreak well. However, some recent developments have increased the number of coronavirus cases in Malaysia.

In a recent tweet, KKM just informed that there have been two more new patients infected with the virus which brings up the total number of cases in Malaysia so far to 25.

The 24th patient is a 41-year-old Japanese woman who works in Malaysia while the 25th case is a 54-year-old Italian man who’s married to a Malaysian. So far, 22 infected patients have been discharged thanks to efficiency of the Health Ministry.

The 23rd case is of a 53-year-old Malaysian woman, who had travelled to Japan recently.

“After arriving back from Japan on Feb 23rd, the patient developed fever symptoms the following day, and received treatment in a hospital in Kuala Lumpur. A Covid-19 test was done, and it was found to be positive on Wednesday.”

Despite these worrying recent developments, we need to have faith in the Health Ministry who have handled all these previous cases in extreme efficiency.
