MERCY Malaysia Puts Out Urgent Call For Medical & Non-Medical Volunteers
The Malaysian Medical Relief Society (MERCY Malaysia) is putting out an urgent call for volunteers with or without medical expertise to help assist with the current Covid-19 outbreak.
Since the news of Covid-19 broke in February last year, the organisation has been communicating closely with the relevant authorities to offer assistance where required. MERCY Malaysia is now seeking volunteers to be deployed from time to time at locations that will be determined when the need arises at medical facilities used by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM).
“Assistance is still needed in this fierce battle,” MERCY Malaysia said on its Instagram page yesterday (17 May).
According to their post on Instagram, among the duties that could be tasked to a volunteer for a duration of at least two weeks or less are;
– Covid-19 swabbing
– Screening
– Registration
– Crowd control
– Data entry
– Vaccination
Interested volunteers can fill up the volunteer application form with this link to register their willingness to help. Further inquiries can be directed to Ain at 019-3140769.
With the Covid-19 cases climbing higher every day, our frontliners need as much help as they can get. Would you guys sign up for this?
