By now I’m sure everyone knows who Soft Toy Uncle aka Uncle David is.
Uncle David who is diagnosed with cancer, sells plushies everyday for a living. The small profit he gains from each toy sold is just enough for him to get by.
Any one who has met the man would know he is a humble, honest and hardworking man whose character would charm anyone. So imagine the audacity of a asshole man who decided to order a whopping 250 plushies from him but never showed up.
A netizen recently took to Facebook to share a heartbreaking image of Uncle David being surrounded by piles upon piles of soft toys.
The user captions, “Please help this uncle, an asshole ordered 250 pokemons from this uncle but never turn up to collect. Now uncle David’s hard earned money is stucked with the stock. Please share and help out this poor Uncle David.”
Although Uncle David is being placed in a difficult position with his finances tied, the man still manages a smile for the photo. In case you guys didn’t know, Uncle David takes public transport from Cheras to Damansara so imagine the huge pile he had to carry throughout his journey!
Netizens (as well as everyone here at WOB) are outraged for that irresponsible person’s actions and at the same time shares their heart-felt sympathy for the man.
But seriously, this is absurdly outrageous!
“If you’re not going to buy then WTF would you order this many toys??” one commented furiously.
Another user wrote, “Poor Uncle ??? I hope he will sell finish his stocks quickly.”
The original poster himself even bought several bags full to help Uncle David clear his stock. Kudos to you kind sir!
Let’s hope karma gets to whoever had put him in this situation. Whoever is free and wants to help out Uncle David, please drop by Damansara Uptown’s HSBC bank at 11am onwards.
