A Chinese man was trapped in an abandoned well in Thailand for more than 3 days before his rescue.

The man, Liu Chuanyi did his best by screaming and crying for help but what took the people 3 days to find Liu trapped down there? To clarify, the people heard Liu’s cry for help but they decided NOT to go near the voice.

They thought it was the voice of a ghost.

Liu was trapped inside the well in Mae-Sot near the Thai-Myanmar border. So, how was Liu eventually “identified” as a non-paranormal entity?

According to the Times of India and South China Morning Post, the police immediately dispatched rescue personnel into the forest where the abandoned well is after they heard Liu responding to their calls.

Liu is only 22 years old and the rescue operations lasted about 30 minutes.

The villagers refused to “respond” to Liu’s cry for help because they had a concern in mind – it might be the voice of something supernatural to lure them into the forest. Some even went as far as assuming that it was a black magic practitioner looking for a sacrifice.

Out of fear, they sought help from the police to investigate the matter, and the rest was history which led to Liu’s rescue.

Liu suffered injuries on his left hand and has received treatment at the hospital.
