Young M’sian Boy Cries After Thinking KLCC’s Twin Towers Had Been Moved to India
A young Malaysian boy’s devotion to our nation’s iconic Petronas Twin Towers has completely stolen the internet’s heart!
In a heartwarming video that went viral on Threads, a concerned mother, natashaleza, recorded her young son, Aneeq, sobbing uncontrollably after coming across a viral video showing the massive KLCC-inspired replica towers built for a festival in India. Mistakenly believing that the actual iconic towers had been physically relocated out of Malaysia, poor Aneeq was left completely heartbroken!

“My kid was crying because he thought KLCC had moved to India. He loves Malaysia’s KLCC so much.” Natasha wrote.
“We had to bring him to KLCC so he could see it was still there!”
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, natashaleza shared how she and her family managed to reassure young Aneeq and prove that Malaysia’s beloved landmark hadn’t gone anywhere.
“This weekend, Aneeq actually asked us to take him to KLCC because he wanted to see for himself that it was still there.
“I explained to him that the KLCC in India was just a replica and that the real Petronas Twin Towers were still in Kuala Lumpur. I guess he just needed to see it with his own eyes to feel reassured!” she told WORLD OF BUZZ.
True to her word, a trip straight to Kuala Lumpur city centre was arranged so Aneeq could look up at the towering steel giants in person and finally put his worries to rest!

“TRX or Merdeka 118? No, it HAS to be KLCC!”
When asked if the Petronas Twin Towers hold a special place in Aneeq’s heart, natashaleza revealed that her son’s loyalty to the iconic twin skyscrapers is completely unmatched.
“YES, ABSOLUTELY! He is genuinely obsessed with KLCC. We’ve tried taking him to other landmarks like Menara KL and TRX, but he’s not interested. Even when we bring him to PNB 118, he still wants KLCC.
“No other building will do for him. It has to be KLCC!” she shared warmly with WORLD OF BUZZ.
Whether it’s the sleek architecture or the glowing night lights, no other modern skyscraper in the skyline can replace KLCC as Aneeq’s number-one favourite landmark in Malaysia.

Natasha told WORLD OF BUZZ that seeing the public’s overwhelming love brought so much joy to her son:
“He was so surprised and happy to see so many people finding his reaction adorable! It’s really heartwarming to see everyone appreciating his innocent love for our KLCC!”
