Ever been served a drink at a bar that was completely different from what you ordered? Well, with this new technology, it sounds like that will no longer be a problem!

Focus Dynamics, a fast-growing F&B, Entertainment and Lifestyle group has just introduced Malaysia’s first robotic bartender, MixoBot.

According to Focus Dynamics Executive Director, Benson Tay, the MixoBot can be programmed by a professional world-class mixologist within minutes to deliver perfect cocktails every time, without fail.

“Bartenders sometimes may not be as precise as a robot. Customers return drinks to the bar station due to ingredients proportioned that might not suit their taste. The returned drinks cost money to the bar and we hope the MixoBot is able to help eliminate this problem— not only for us but for the restaurants MixoBot serve,” Tay added.

With the new MixoBot, Focus Dynamics believes that it could bring great profit into the F&B industry, targetting an expected growth in beverage revenue by 50%.  Having said that, the Group is now open to leasing the Mixobot to any restaurants interested.

The Mixobot is set to be the centrepiece of Lavo, the Group’s resto-lounge and wine atelier. Aside from being an attention piece,  the MixoBot ensures the accurate mix of ingredients to a perfect cocktail.

The main feature of the MixoBot is its robotic arms that prepare a selected menu of drinks. With flexible arms and perfect mimicking of the human hand, the MixoBot is able to bring attractiveness to the bar station by mixing drinks while carrying out captivating choreographed movements simultaneously.

Lavo welcomes anyone who would like to experience the MixoBot by booking a table at Lavo through the GemSpot mobile application— available on the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.
