Malaysians Praise Rambutan Tree Owner for Generously Giving Away FREE Fruit to the Public!

Malaysians love getting free things. Whether it’s a food sample or a goody bag from an event, we’ll take anything we can get our hands on! With the rising cost of living and stagnant incomes, maybe we’ve earned the right to appreciate free stuff a little more.

In a recent video shared by @amirsyazal, he and his friends are seen casually picking rambutans from a tree owned by local homeowners in the area.

FREE rambutans!

In the video, Amir and his friends decided to pick rambutans after seeing a sign put up by the owner that reads,

“Free rambutans. If you want some, feel free to take them. A sickle is by the tree.”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Amir revealed that this heartwarming incident took place in the town of Guar Jering, Pulau Pinang.

They were thrilled by the owner’s incredible generosity

Amir went on to share how excited and shocked he and his friends were upon discovering the generosity of the homeowners who allowed the public to pick rambutans from their tree.

“We couldn’t believe it at first, we thought it might be a prank. But once we realised it was real, we were amazed by the owners’ generosity. It’s rare to find people willing to do something like this.”

When asked, he explained that despite the free offer, he and his friends took only what they needed. They didn’t want to take someone’s kindness for granted or deprive others who might need it more.

Netizens started flooding the comment section to share their thoughts and reactions!

“It’s a wonderful feeling to know that we could put a smile on other people’s faces. I hope the owner is blessed with good things and enjoys a happy, fulfilling life always.”

“It’s fine if the rambutans are used for eating, but I hope people don’t end up selling them. They should be shared with others as well.”

“The owner has a generous heart. I hope everyone takes only what they need.”

“This is the kind of owner we love to see. Sometimes fruit that is nearing its end still goes to waste because people are reluctant to give it away.”
