Because of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), festive seasons this year may not be as celebratory as years past, as we are not allowed to go around visiting each other.

But that does not mean that we can’t make the most out of it thanks to the virtual world!

A group of Malaysian gamers took to GTA V to creatively conduct a wedding kenduri as showcased on the YouTube page, GTA 5 Malaysia.

They wrote, “Wedding feast in GTA 5 Malaysia Mods. There were even poetry and performances including silat.”

According to Malay Mail, one of the gamers involved in the virtual wedding ceremony, Noor Azwan Mohd Noor said that thanks to a local server called the MYRP server, they were able to implement the Malaysian identity within GTA V through custom modification.

“MYRP was the first ever server to introduce a Malaysian touch in it and now there are also other servers implementing the same thing,” he added.

The virtual ceremony was complete with marquees, tables, chairs, a buffet line, a dedicated dining are for the couple’s families, a dais, Malaysian traditional attire and even players wearing RELA uniforms to make the scene as realistic as possible.

It’s truly amazing to see how creative Malaysians are especially when it comes to facing the challenge of holding a wedding feast while not actually being able to physically be there.

We can’t wait to see what they have in store of Hari Raya!

Kudos, guys!
