Malaysia Is Officially The 3Rd Highest In Asia For Covid-19 Infections With 900 Cases &Amp; 2 Deaths - World Of Buzz 1

With Malaysia’s latest spike of 110 Covid-19 cases this evening at 3:55pm, our country now sadly ranks as the third highest recorded Covid-19 nation in all of Asia with a staggering 900 cases, falling behind only to South Korea and China, as reported by the Star.

Malaysia has climbed ranks by the hundreds over the past couple of days even amidst the Movement Control Order that took effect yesterday (18th March). Despite the warnings from authorities to #JustStayAtHome, many Malaysians have been seen gathering in groups either to balik kampung or lepak in eateries.

Japan, who originally held third place until today has recorded a total of 889 cases since yesterday (18th March) at 4:30pm, following an online dashboard created by the Johns Hopkins Center for Systems Science and Engineering.

South Korea currently records 8,565 cases while China still retains its position at the top with 81,139 cases. Just recently, the leading nation rejoiced when it was discovered that there were no newly reported cases of Covid-19 in Wuhan or any surrounding area around the Hubei province on Wednesday (18th March), a hopeful indication that the pandemic is showing signs of slowing down in their region.

Will Malaysia be able to report the same good news soon? Remember to wash your hands, keep social distance and #JustStayAtHome, guys!
