Accidents are always unwanted situations that can happen with 1 wrong move.
At midnight on 17 September, a luxury car driver crashed into a petrol kiosk and ran away after the accident.
According to Sinar Harian, the driver was driving a Mercedes C43 when he rammed into a petrol kiosk in a station located on the LDP (Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong).
After receiving the emergency call at 12.13 am, the Taman Tun Fire Station dispatched a truck and 8 personnel to deal with the wreckage.
“When we arrived at the scene, we saw that the car had crashed into the petrol pump and the driver was not there.”
Due to the crash, petrol had spilt out and the BOMBA personnel had to clean it up to avoid unwanted accidents. The operation ended 30 minutes later.
In a collection of photos sent to the Facebook page “Info Roadblock”, we see the driver sitting at the side of the car but he was long gone when the BOMBA arrived.
Many netizens believe that the man was intoxicated and asked for authorities to take action.
“Please arrest this youth, the police should do what they’re supposed to do. Just because he is the son of a rich person, he shouldn’t be let off the hook.”
Other netizens gave more sarcastic answers.
“He’s so angry with the price of petrol nowadays.”
“Don’t misunderstand, he ran to the toilet to throw up.”
All in all, it is never a good idea to drive when you are intoxicated or unwell. With many e-hailing services available, you can get a ride home safely without breaking any laws.
