Recently, a viral video has been circulating on social media, including this post by X user @nanmanjoi8715, showing an adult Malayan tiger roaming by itself on the Gua Musang-Jeli road in Kelantan.

In the 50-second video, the tiger, looking a bit disoriented can be seen walking in a zig-zag manner on the road before running into the jungles when a vehicle was close.

Following the video going viral, BERNAMA reported that the location of the incident was at Bukit Meranto in Gua Musang and that the video was recorded by 22-year-old Che Fiti Zulhilmi Che Leh, an ice-delivery lorry driver.

During the incident, Zulhilmi was driving with his lorry conductor, 25-year-old Mohd Amir Saari on the way back to Jeli after a trip to Gua Musang.

Che Fiti Zulhilmi added that this was not the first time he encountered a tiger on the road, though this was the first time he managed to record a video instead of just snapping a photo.

He further said that after the incident, he shared the video to the Gua Musang locals via WhatsApp and that is when the footage became viral.
