Everyone knows Khairul Aming! As Malaysia’s most beloved foodie content creator, he has undoubtedly reached great heights to become one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the country.
In a recent viral clip that’s been making waves online, @christhechindian took to his TikTok to share a moment he and @jjohnow had with one of the street food vendors in London.
“Do you know Khairul Aming?”
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Chris shared how he and John were on vacation in the United Kingdom. In the video, they were seen roaming around Borough Market in search of food when they stumbled upon a stall offering paella and mussels.
While waiting for their food, they struck up a conversation with the street vendors, asking them where they were from. One of the vendors responded that he was from North Africa.
Upon learning that Chris and John were from Malaysia, the street vendor’s expression drastically changed as he asked,
“Yeah, I know where Malaysia is! Do you guys know Khairul Aming?”

Chris shared how he was shocked to learn that the UK street vendors actually knew about Khairul Aming, which just goes to show how big and successful Khairul Aming is.
“I was shocked! I thought I misheard, hence the ‘ah?’ expression I made.”
He continued to share how unexpected it was, as they were just there to record the experience of getting food. He then expressed how both he and John felt somewhat connected and proud of how Khairul Aming brings the name of Malaysia to places like central London.
“We’re proud to be Malaysians!”
Khairul Aming took it upon himself to comment on the viral clip, expressing,
“I miss Simon! If anyone is around Borough Market, be sure to make a pit stop at their stall. They’re all so friendly, and they offer some of the best oysters there.”
Netizens in the comment section started flooding in like wildfire, sharing their thoughts on the clip.
